As our Cyber Guardians: Women Securing our Digital Future campaign comes to a close, we would like to sincerely thank everyone who took part and helped make this initiative meaningful.
International Women’s Day 2026 once again reminded us how important it is to ensure that women are represented across all fields, including cybersecurity. As cybersecurity becomes more complex and central to our digital lives, the sector must draw on a wider range of perspectives to stay effective and resilient – and it is our responsibility as an industry to close the gender gap that still exists in this field today.
Over the course of March, our signatories shared their experiences working across different areas of cybersecurity. Together, these stories highlighted both the breadth of opportunities within the field and the impact that women are making at every level. By putting these voices front and center, the campaign sought to inspire others to see a place for themselves in cybersecurity, whether they are just starting out or ready to take on leadership roles.
We are deeply grateful to the signatories who took part in this campaign and generously shared their time and perspectives: Kaja Ciglic (Microsoft), Dana Simberkoff (AvePoint), Madinah Ali (SafePC Solutions), Jimena Kumagae (VU Security), Kimberly Street Robison (Logically), Imelda Flores (Scitum), and Cara Parfitt (Logically). Their contributions showcased the breadth of talent within the cybersecurity community and the many paths available within the sector.
While this campaign concludes, the work continues. The Cybersecurity Tech Accord remains committed to supporting and encouraging the participation of women in cybersecurity today and in the years ahead.
Thank you to everyone who followed, shared, and engaged with Cyber Guardians. Together, we can continue working toward a more inclusive and secure digital future.
