The Cybersecurity Tech Accord is pleased to announce that five new organizations have pledged their support to our accord and committed to protecting and empowering users and customers everywhere to improve the security and resilience of cyberspace. We are proud to welcome our new signatories from across the cybersecurity industry and beyond: Motorola, the Professional Evaluation and Certification Board, Moonlock, Logically, and Privacy Bee.
In April 2018, 34 technology companies joined and helped launch the Cybersecurity Tech Accord based on a commitment to four fundamental principles: stronger defense, no offense, capacity building and collective action. Today, our group has reached 162 signatories, a testament to our commitment to prioritize customers, users, and all actors online, and advocate against the misuse of technology that harms innocent civilians and organizations. Their expertise ranges from cybersecurity skills and standards, to consumer electronics and IoT devices, to software that enables cyberdefenses and protection against hackers.
Motorola, a consumer electronics manufacturer based in Chicago primarily focused on producing smartphones and other mobile devices. The company is a subsidiary of Tech Accord signatory Lenovo.

Privacy Bee, an information technology and services firm that develops software designed to mitigate the risks of hacking and identity theft based in Georgia, US.
“We joined Cybersecurity Tech Accord because we believe strongly that the future of cybersecurity includes a layer of External Data Privacy, which is an emerging space only recently brought to light by the surge of AI-generated spear phishing that weaponizes exposed employee PII. These conversations are beginning to happen across InfoSec professionals, and we’d like to be a positive part of that dialog.”
Harry Maugans, Founder & CEO, Privacy Bee
As cyber threats evolve and our group adapts to emerging industry trends, our continued growth this year reaffirms that the vision we set six years ago still resonates powerfully within our industry and beyond.
